FRANCES M. FROZENA
(1912 - 1994)

Frances M. Frozena, age 82, of 1134 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, September 19, 1994, at her residence surrounded by all her children ending her three year battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 1994, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Concelebrating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be her son. rev. Kenneth Frorzena, Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. and fellow priest's. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Church cemetery, Manitowoc.

The former Frances Becker was born February 2, 1912, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Mary Ziarnik Becker. She married Felix R. Frozena on June 8, 1931, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death July 9, 1981. Mrs. Frozena was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was also involved in the St. Mary's Choir for 68 years and as a church soloist for 50 years. She was a member of the St Mary's Rosary and Altar society for 66 years where she was past president. Mrs. Frozena was a St. Mary's Sacristan for 25 years and was also involved in the Diocesan Ministry Program where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Survivors include her children, Rev. Kenneth Frozena, Sacred Heart Church, Sherwood, Joseph (Helen) Frozena, Mary Ann (Roman) Jadowski, Patricia (Thomas) Bosi, Jerry (Cindy) Frozena, John (Mary) Frozena, all of Manitowoc. She is further survived by a daughter-in-law, Maxine Kelley, Manitowoc; a special friend, Margaret Hanl, Two Rivers; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Frozena, three brothers and seven sisters.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday where the St. Mary Rosary and Altar Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by father Kenneth.

Special thanks to a daughter-in-law, Cindy Frozena, RN, with whose help and dedication Mom was able to spend her last days at home with her family.
