Mr. Rouse was born on September 13, 1919, in Greendale, Virginia, to the late Ray Rouse and Margaret Bailey Rouse Stout.
Mr. Rouse was retired from Lemmon Transport Company as a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Union Local 549, a veteran having served in World War II with the United States Navy. Mr. Rouse was a member of the Euclid Avenue Baptist Church, and he loved to hunt and fish.
Mr. Rouse was preceded in death by his step father, Elbert Stout, one daughter, Nancy Rouse Dishman, three brothers, Paul Rouse, Ralph Rouse, and Lee Rouse, and two sisters, Lucille Vance, and Edith Dutton.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 11, 2004, at 8:00 P.M. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert E. Jones, and Rev. Walt Simmerman officiating.
Entombment will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. in the Mountain View Mausoleum Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great Grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Lester D. Moretz, members of the Young at Heart Group, and Mr. Rouse's Sunday school class at Euclid Avenue Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 7:45 P.M. in the Weaver Funeral Home.
