From the Nashville Banner May 22, 1996 "Walter Boyd Adams services conducted Belfast--Services for Mr. Walter Boyd Adams, 66, were held Tuesday at Bills-McGaugh & Floyd Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Burial was in Short Cemetery in the Spring Place community. Mr. Adams, a retired car dealer, died Sunday at Columbia Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Adams was a native of Marshall County and a son of the late Solon B. and Tisha Mae Cole Adams. He was married to Clara Mildred Harris Adams. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors besides his wife include two sons, Ronnie Adams and Jerry Adams, both of Lewisburg; two sisters, Mary Ethel Endsley of Culleoka and Joan Endsley of Lewisburg; and a grandchild."
