Billie Louise Williams, 85, a forty-five year resident of Silver City, NM passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born May 20th, 1928 in Enloe, TX. Billie married Billy W. Williams in September 1944. They celebrated sixty five years of marriage prior to his passing in 2009. Billie was a great cook and enjoyed large gatherings with family and friends. She loved to fish and enjoyed a big fish fry. Billie and Bill were in the construction and home decorating business for many years. She never lost that talent for making things stylish and beautiful, including herself and her home. She is survived by three daughters-Brenda, Debbie (Craig) and Jan; eight grandchildren- Kelle, Ashley, Danielle, Kyle, Billy, Erin, Brian and Jennifer; six great- grandchildren-Rafa, Oliver, Alberto, Agustin, Trevor and Henry. She is also survived by her sister Faye, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones that she called family. The services will be held at Terrazas Funeral Chapel in Santa Clara, NM (Silver City). Viewing will be Friday, September 6th from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, September 7th at 10 am with Greg Burchfield officiating. Concluding service internment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Silver City.
