A beautiful angel has joined God in Heaven. Heather Lenae Cole 20 passed away in a tragic car accident near Boonville Mo. early Friday Morning October 4, 2013.

Memorial services will be held at 12p.m. Wednesday October 9, 2013 at Christian Chapel 3300 S. Providence Road Columbia Mo. The 63 Diner will be hosting a buffet following the service at 5801 Rangeline Columbia Mo. 65202.

Heather was born December 20, 1992 in Bakersfield California the daughter of Kevin and Denise Volesky Cole.

She was a 2011 graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia where se was involved in the cheerleading and comp squad. She was currently a student at Moberly Area Community College in Columbia and was planning to go to Columbia College to get her degree to teach Special Education. She worked at the 63 Diner as a waitress since she was 16. She also worked at Tiger Tot's as a teacher's assistant.

Heather moved to Columbia in 2005 with her parents and sister Amber. Her family moved back to Bakersville in 2011 and Heather decided to stay here and go to college.

She was the most kind, generous and loving person you coul ever meet and left this world way to soon.She is our beautiful guardian angel and will never be forgotten.

Heather is survived by her parents, Kevin and Denise and sister Amber all of Bakersfield California. grandpa Phil Cole of Jackson Center Ohio, uncles, aunts, and cousins who love her dearly in Missouri and Arkansas along with hundreds of friends whose lives are forever changed by having her in their lives.

She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Margaret Volesky and Alice Cole, grandfather, Warren Volesky and aunt Patricia Trauernicht.

A scholarship fund has been set up through Hickman High School called the Heather Cole Sparkle of Hope which will be dedicated to students who want to go on to become teachers.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations be made to this fund in care of Boone County National Bank 1009 Smiley Lane Columbia Mo. 65202. A memorial service will be planned for a later date in Bakersfield California.
