Ralph, 88, passed away Oct. 7, 2013. He was born Sept. 10, 1925 in Altus, AR to Charles & Mary Adams. During WWII, Ralph honorably served his country in the US Navy. After moving from Arkansas to OKC in 1953, Ralph became a company man for London Oil Properties and provided dedicated service until his retirement. When Ralph wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and most of all spending time with his family. He loved to support his grandchildren in all of their sporting endeavors and would often times travel great distances to watch them play baseball & football. Ralph was the best of the best! A very loving and devoted family man, Ralph was honest, hardworking, adoring and compassionate in all his ways. He will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by his parents. Ralph leaves behind his loving wife of 68 yrs.: Violet; two children: Judi Nehus & husband Larry and Tommy Adams & wife Marilyn; brother: R.J. Adams; two grandsons: Ryan Adams & wife Angela and Aaron Adams & wife Michelle; 3 great grandchildren: Madeline, Jacob & George Adams. Visitation will be at Vondel Smith Mortuary, S. Lakes from 4-8 PM Thursday with the family greeting friends from 6-8 PM. Services to celebrate his life will be held 2 PM Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at South Lakes Chapel.
