Ferguson, Eugene R. 12/14/1935 ~ 10/05/2013 VISTA -- Eugene was born in Kirkwood, MO in 1935. He joined the US Marine Corps in 1953 and retired from the Marine Corps in 1972 . He was very proud Marine and loved serving his country.
After he retired from the USMC, he worked for Air Products Supplies and for La Costa Limousine as a driver.
Gene had many hobbies. He loved hunting, sailing and shooting, working with leather. He had a deep passion for wildlife and camping.
Gene was a avid Boy Scouts growing up. Later became a Boy Scout Leader in the late 60's teaching Boy Scouts shooting and survival skills for their merit badges. He continued to work with the Boys Scouts for many years.
Gene joined with his wife of 46 years, Bertha who passed in September 2007. He is survived by his loving family & grandchildren.
We will miss you Papa.
