BARNEY GOSPODAREK
(1879 - 1945)

Barney Gospodarek 66, of 1233 South 17th street, died last night at the Holy Family Hospital. He had been in failing health for three years.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Gospodarek home and at 11 o'clock at the St. Marys Catholic church, the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mr. Gospodaredk was born in Poland in 1879 and came to this country at the age of 12 years. He married Miss Mary Mrotek here 43 years ago. He was employed at the Manitowoc Land and Fuel company for 33 years. He was an usher at St. Marys church for 18 years and a member of the Stanislau Kastka society.

Survivors are his wife; daughter, Mrs. Henry Hutchison of this city; father, John of this city; five brothers, Michael, John, Joseph, Robert and Frank all of this city; and a grandchild (name omitted for privacy.) of this city.

The body was removed to the home late today from the Shimek and Schwartz funeral home, and the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday night.
