Mrs. Sophie F. Grzeskowiak, 74, who resided with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Olson of 1715 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Friday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Thaddeus J. Koszarek will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Grzeskowiak, nee Sophie Stryzewski, was born Oct. 8, 1899, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Julius and Gertrude Andrastek Stryzewski. She was married to John Grzeskowiak August 16, 1924, at Manitowoc. Her husband preceded her in death in February of 1950. Mrs. Grzeskowiak was a member of the St. Mary Rosary and Altar Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Jane) Bartel and Mrs. Marvin (Ruth) Olson of Manitowoc; a brother, Frank of Detroit, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Theresa Mueller of Manitowoc and five grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday where a wake service will be held at 7 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Sunday by the Rosary and Altar Society.
