Mrs. Josephine G. Helminiak, 91, of 926 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon, June 23, 1987 at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in St. Mary Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Helminiak, nee Josephine Genevieve Sieracki was born February 19, 1896 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late George and Pauline Kansa Sieracki. She was married to Anton Helminiak, September 5, 1916, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death April 20, 1945. Mrs. Helminiak was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic church.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Eleanore and George Kulawa of Milwaukee, Lorraine and Ariel Ligman of Brookfield and Shirley and William Fessler of Manitowoc; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Genevieve and Marian, brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday, where a prayer service will be 7 pm.
