Mrs. Flora Benge, 63, Tuttle, KY, died at 9:50 p.m. at the University of Kentucky Medical Center Hospital, Lexington, on March 16 , 1969.
Mrs. Benge was a native of Laurel County and was the daughter of James and Fannie Burkhart Vaughn. She was married to Robert Benge.
Mrs. Benge was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Ray Benge, Tuttle;
sister, Mrs. Henry (Mallie) Day, Dayton, OH;
grandsons: Kenneth Ray Benge and Billy Wayne Benge, of Tuttle.
Services were held March 18 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church by the Revs. Denvis Rush and A. J. Cupp.
Interment was in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery at Lida.
Pallbearers were Bobby Thacker, Ora Rush, Harold Barnes, Cecil Thacker, Henry Day, Jr., and James Brock. House Funeral home was in charge.
