Mrs. Emil Hettich 87, a resident of Manitowoc county for 62 years and of the city of Manitowoc for 36 years, died suddenly at 3 o'clock this morning at her home 2710 Custer St.
Mrs. Hettich nee Theresa Fischer was born April 23,1855 in Berlin, Germany. She was married to Mr. Hettich 23 years ago. He died three months ago.
The survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Hugo Benzinger and Mrs. August Puta, both of Mishicot route 1. Mrs. Joseph Bertel of St Nazianz and Mrs. William Sprang of Two Rivers route 1; two sons; Joseph Leiterman on the homestead, Manitowoc route 4, and Frank Leiterman at home; 2 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer Funeral Home after 7 o'clock tonight. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the funeral home and at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's church. The Rev. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in St Mary's cemetery. The rosary will be recited Friday evening at 8 o'clock.

She is survived by four daughters, two sons, 28 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
