Charles J. Hettmann, 87, of 4322 Delta St., Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, January 14, 1988 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 am Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Hettmann was born September 4, 1900 at New Franken, Wisconsin, son of the late John and Barbara Hemmen Hettmann. He married Rose Pozorski, April 13, 1921 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death February 18, 1977. Mr. Hettmann was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at the former Aluminum Specialty Company, Manitowoc, retiring in 1969.

Survivors include a son, Clarence Hettmann of Manitowoc, two daughters and sons-in-law, Adeline and Anton Tollefson of Manitowoc, Cecelia and Virgil Skrepenski of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Szykowny of Chicago, Mrs. Luella Preslaski and Mrs. Meta Preslaski, both of Green Bay; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gladys Hettmann, two brothers, Edward and Alvin Hettmann and a sister, Hildegarde Scheer Havlovitz.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 9 pm Sunday, where a prayer service will be 7 pm.

TWO SISTERS BRIDES TODAY, DOUBLE WEDDING

Two sisters were brides today at a double wedding celebration at St. Mary's church, Miss Rose Pozorski becoming the bride of Charles Hettman, while Miss Marie Pozorski was wedded to Albert Heim. Handsome altar decorations were arranged and attendants to couple were Adela Gorishka and Victor Povalish, Hildegard Heim and John Pozorski, Lila Pozorski and Joseph Musiel and Thelka Heim and Peter Pozorski.

The brides are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Pozorski, 1210 South Eighteenth street at whose home a wedding reception and dinner was held. Both couple leave this evening for a ten days wedding trip in the northern part of the state.
