Bernard (Ben) Jagodzinsky, 81, of Manitowoc now residing at Family Heritage Home, died Friday, Feb. 29, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Jagodzinsky was born March 3, 1898, at Manitowoc, son of the late Jacob and Antonia Korlesky Jagodzinsky. He married Anna Block in 1931 at Manitowoc, she preceded him in death in 1941. He married Bernice Woytal Vnuk April 16, 1953, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Retiring in 1963, Mr. Jagodzinsky had been employed at the former C. Reiss Coal Company as a foreman, and was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 706.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice, a son, Daniel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four step-sons, Raymond, Harold and Arthur Vnuk of Milwaukee and Marvin Vnuk of Manitowoc; a step-daughter, Mrs. Roger (Leonore) Krause of Manitowoc; a brother, Adolph of Manitowoc, a sister, Valerie Wells of Milwaukee, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
