Donelle Lynn Folden, 19, Newfolden, died Friday, May 27, 1988, in a car-train accident near Newfolden.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Marshall County Central High School Gymnasium, Newfolden. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, in Green Funeral Home, Thief river Falls, and in the school gymnasium one hour before services.

Donelle Lynn Folden was born Sept. 24, 1968, in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Leslie and Beverly Folden. She attended Marshall County Central High School and graduated in 1987. She was enrolled at Northland Community College, Thief River Falls. She was a member of New Maine Four-H club, the Girl Scouts, Evangelical Free Church and FCYF. While in high school, she took part in many activities.

Surviving are her parents; sister, Michelle, Newfolden; maternal grandmother, Ruby Engelsrud, and paternal grandfather, Bergman Folden, both of Newfolden; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather; paternal grandmother; and uncle, Donald Engelsrud. Grand Forks Herald (ND), May 31, 1988
