ADAMS, Feb. 14.—The many friends of William N. Barrus of New York, formerly of Hannibal, will regret to hear of his sudden death which occurred Monday, Feb. 13, at the home of his son, Arthur R. Barrus. Aged 47 vears. Mr. Barrus was a most highly respected gentleman, being the oldest man and holding the best record of any employe on the Ninth Avenue Elevated road. Beside a mother he leaves one sister, Mrs. W. D. Peckham of Adams, N. Y., two sons, Arthur R, and George L, and one daughter, Ruby, who have the deepest sympathy of all their friends in their sad bereavement. Funeral will be held at Mrs. W. D. Peckham's residence Thursday at 5 o'clock p. m. Burial at Rural cemetery, Oswego
