David A Brandel age 69 a resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at St Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport.

Born May 15, 1942 in Manitowoc to the late Ottmar and Grace (Hynek) Brandel, Dave was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School class of 1960. He then earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from St Norbert College and an MBA from Marquette University. Employed as an accountant for Champion International Paper he retired from International Paper after over 35 years of service in 2001. He enjoyed wildlife, animals, the outdoors and spending time at the beach.

David is survived by special friends Elizabeth Fray & Karen Balko, both of Connecticut. He is further survived by many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant sister Judy.

Graveside services 2pm Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery Manitowoc. Officiating at the service was Deacon Alan Boeldt. Pfeffer Funeral Home Manitowoc assisted the family.
