CHARMAN (Roe), Doris - 88, passed away October 23, 2002, in Halifax. She was a long-time employee of Simpson-Hurst Insurance and served in the Canadian Militia for a number of years as the rank of Captain. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Emily; sisters, Jean and Isabel; brothers, Harvey and David. A committal service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.

NOTE: Doris was married to and later divorced from J Millard Charman.
