Al Blaz enjoyed a meaningful career as an English professor and administrator at the University of Guam / Unibetsedåt Guahan.

Mass of Intentions were held nightly at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica in Hagåtña at 6pm. Last respects will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica in Hagåtña from 9:00am - 12:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1:00pm.

Burial followed at Pigo Catholic Cemetery.
