Loretta was born on October 7, 1919 in the Town of Meeme Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Clements and Emily (Riesterer) Endries. She attended St. Gregory's School in St. Nazianz. On April 30, 1946 Loretta was married to Emmet E. Klusmeyer at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. Emmet preceded her in death on July 1, 2008. Loretta was a past member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a current member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, sewing, crocheting and babysitting for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the neighborhood children who thought of her as grandma. Loretta also enjoyed visiting and volunteering at Northridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth A. (Sandra) Klusmeyer, Manitowoc; two granddaughters: Heather Klusmeyer, Manitowoc; Sara Schuetze, Manitowoc; five great grandchildren: Draven Wagner, Aries and Kadira Goin, Corbin and Samantha Schuetze; two brothers and three sisters-in-law: Roman (Lenore) Endries, Manitowoc; Alfred (Kathleen) Endries, Pipe; Monica Endries, Chilton; one sister and one brother-in-law: Marjorie Bushman, Howards Grove; Melvin Mueller, St. Nazianz; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clements and Emily Endries; her husband: Emmet E. Klusmeyer; her son: John R. Klusmeyer; three sisters and four brothers-in-law: Rita (Henry) Wilke, Jeanette Mueller, Dolores (Leo) Burkart, Leland Bushman; one brother: Alphonse Endries.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Marshall St. site. The Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the Klusmeyer family with funeral arrangements.
