Rube Franklin Turbeville, 76, Cherokee, died Saturday at 7:15 a.m. in Iuka, Mississippi
He was a native of Colbert County, a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m., at Harris Chapel, Cherokee. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery with Brown Service, Tuscumbia, directing.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. L.A. McCaig, Rt.3, Cherokee, two sons, Homer & Clyde Turbeville, both of Rt.3, Cherokee; four stepsons, Ellis George, Clyde George, J.D. George, all of Cherokee, Earl George,Chicago: three grandchildren; two step grandchildren;, a brother Silas Turbeville, Cherokee, a sister, Minnie Davis, Cherokee.
Bearers will be Roy Turbeville, Ulysses Turbeville, Silas Davis, W.D. Cornelius, Dewey Cornelius, Glenn Cornelius.
