Willa's parents were Willis and Rose Thompson Kerr. She was married to Rev. Elza Wayne Chitester on April 30, 1913 in Tionesta Pa.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Monroe (Louise) Blodgett, Sheffield, Mrs. William (Ruth) Carnahan, Beaver, PA, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Stiles, and Mrs. Charles (Rosadell) Wolfe, both of Burlington, N. J. and Mrs. Donald (Fern) Yardley, Danbury, Conn; two sons, Wayne Chitester, Jr. Cochranton, PA and John Chitester, Youngsville, PA; 18 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.
