Deceased Name: Evelyn A. Coon
Evelyn A. Coon died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005.
She was the last direct descendant of Patrick J. Slavin who was director of Monroe County Parks for 20 years.
Mrs. Coon is survived by her children, Frank N. (Carol), Kathleen M. (Carl) Wagner, Ellen M. (Earl) Barto, Christopher (Judith); 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William N. and son Martin S.
Mrs. Coon's funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Dec, 16 at Holy Ghost Church. Interment was in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
Donations in her name may be made to Benincasa Hospice, 3880 Rush-Mendon Road, Mendon, NY 14506 or Holy Ghost Church, 220 Coldwater Road, Rochester, NY 14624.
Arrangements were made by Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home.
