Crushed when he cranked a truck which had been left in gear, Noah Duncan, 1132 East Cedar street, died a half hour later yesterday at St. John's hospital.
Duncan had reported to work at 7 o'clock in the morning. When he cranked the truck, of which he was driver, it crushed him against another truck. He died at 7:30 o'clock.
Survivors are is wife, Verga May Sidener Duncan; two sons, Harold and Kenneth Duncan; two sisters, Mrs. Dan Sprinkle and Mrs. Vada Smelson, all of Springfield.
Funeral services were held at the residence and at the Stuart Street Christian church.
Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.
