She was born in Bay City, Mich., and had lived in Jacksonville 18 years. She was a member of Lake Shore Baptist Church.
Surviving were a son, William Allen Jr. of Jacksonville; a daughter Grace, Mrs. Robert T. Walters of Birmingham, Ala. b. 1908; a brother, John Allen of Pontiac, Mich; a sister, Mrs. Grace Clark of Sparta, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
According to an 1880 Census Claribel was born in 1879 in Hastings, Barry Co., MI and her first name was spelled Clarabel. (She was one year old when the 1880 census was taken.)
