J.R. ADAMS

Funeral services for J. R. Adams, who died Friday afternoon at the home of Jim Adams, were held at the First Baptist church in Madill at 3 o'clock, Friday afternoon, with the Rev. W. N. Denton conducting.

Music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. John Landram, Mrs. E. E. Ayres and B. E. Adamson.

Men acting as pallbearers were W. M. Blakely, Perry Hopkins, Tom Oliver, Willie Brock and Bob Turner.

He was survived by his wife and children, Jim Adams, Madill; Robert Adams, Tishomingo; Lonnie Adams, Hobbs, N.M.; Lawrence Adams, Spring Cannon, Utah, and Mrs. Hazel Carney, Dallas, Tex.
