Lisa A. Baker, 38, of North Aurora, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lisa was born Oct. 11, 1966, in Chicago, the daughter of Donald and Ann (nee Bobey) Stevens. Lisa was united in marriage to Stephen Baker on April 16, 1994, in Villa Park.
Lisa is survived by her husband; a daughter, Amanda; a sister, Lori (David) Folis of Elgin; her paternal grandmother, Marian Stevens; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her maternal grandparents, George and Anna Bobey; and paternal grandfather, Leonard Stevens.
Visitation will be at Moss Family Funeral Home, Batavia. The funeral will begin at the funeral home, and proceed to Holy Cross Catholic Church, Batavia, for Mass. The Rev. Joachim Tyrtania will be the celebrant. Interment will be on Friday, Sept. 30, at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, Illinois.
