CAROL KUMMER

Carol M. "Peachie" Kummer, age 81, of 1018 E. Linden Ave., Manitowoc, died
Friday, May 23, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County.
Carol was born Jan. 5, 1927, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Reinhard and
Hattie Green Fanslau. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the
class of 1945 from Lincoln High School. On June 24, 1950, she married Eugene P.
Kummer at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was a member of Sacred
Heart Catholic Church and now of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Carol enjoyed
ceramics and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers-in-law and one
sister-in-law: Raymond (Marion) Kummer; Joe Keenan; and Richard Erdmann.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 28, 2008, at St. Francis
of Assisi-Waldo site. The Rev. John Schuetze will officiate the Mass of Christian
Burial. Cremation will follow and burial of her cremated remains will take place
at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday
at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St., Manitowoc. A prayer
service will be led by Sr. Michael Majeskie at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue
Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
