He wrote his name interchangeably, Henry Thomas AND Thomas Henry. In the 1870 Federal Census for St Mary Parish, Louisiana, he uses Thomas H Weightman. In the 1880 Federal Census for Pass Christian, Mississippi, he is listed as T.H. Weightman.

As the 1890 census was lost to fire, and his wife, Harriet C Weeks Weightman is listed as a widow in her 1898 death certificate, it can be assumed he died between 1880-1898; perhaps in Mississippi or maybe in Louisiana.
