Jean was the youngest child of the family. She grew up in Galesburg, Illinois and as a young woman travelled and worked in Europe, Russia and Japan. She met her husband, Charles Windfield Tuck, Jr. overseas, and married him on March 27, 1955. They had six children: Deborah Jean b. February 19, 1956, Stephanie Marie b. June 13, 1957, Christopher Windfield b. August 30, 1958, Maureen Elizabeth Michelle b. August 5, 1959, Carole Penelope b. December 24, 1960 and Suzanne b. March 1, 1963, d. August 17, 1993.
