Cherri Lynne Harper passed away Dec. 7, 2008 in Moab. Cherri was born in Indianapolis, Ind. on Oct. 20, 1954 to Paul W. Harper, and Hyla Jane Hart.

She graduated from Avon High in Avon, Ind., and later moved to Moab, where she has been a resident since 1982.

Cherri was a very private person, and a mainly kept to herself. A lover of animals and plants, she was well known for her many kitty cats, and flowers, especially her favorite, the African violet.

She has two daughters whom she cherished dearly: Caci, and Britnee. She could be a feisty woman but was always a very loving, caring mother who will be greatly missed by all who were privileged to know her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Hyla Harper, and nephew, Johnny. She is survived by her father, Paul Harper of Moab; sister, Cindy (Michael) Taylor, brother, Michael (Gwendolyn) Harper, both of Moab, daughters, Caci (Jeff) Kochvar of Brazil, Ind., and Britnee Harper of Telluride, Colo. She is also survived by her nieces, Misty and Dawn, and nephew, Caleb.
