Martha Edith Goldie Schuele was born in Chicago,Cook County,Illinois. Her father was Joseph James Schuele he was born 1 March 1848 in Badan,Germany died 29 January 1928 her mother was Anna Katherine Catherine Stumpf born 28 October 1847 Arnshain,Giessen,Hessen,Germany and died 21 February 1908 Chicago,Cook County,Illinois she had six brother and one sister. Martha married Edward Jackson Morley chief engineer for Los Angeles county for many years and owned the Trojan chemical company in Los Angeles. I remember my grandmother with much joy and peace. She always took me to the park and the wadding pool and then for a big ice cream cone. She was a devout Presbyterian and read her bible daily. Her cakes she always mysteriously had one triple layer with that wonderful frosting that looked like marshmallow cream and had little beads all over it or coconut. What was there not to love about her. When she smiled her eyes would dance and you knew she was full love.
