Samuel C BREWER, 72 years old, died this morning at 5 o'clock at his home near the Green House, Dunbar, following a lingering illness. Besides his wife, Mrs Margaret BREWER, he is survived by the following children: Mrs J D MILLER, Mrs Thomas MARTIN, Mrs Stonerod BODKIN, Mrs Jacob MARIETTA, Richard and Charles Brewer of Dunbar, Earl BREWER of Kingwood, W Va, and Samuel BREWER Jr at home. Sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the home. Rev D W Bolton, pastor of the Methodist Protestant Church of Dunbar, assisted by Rev D E Minerd of Connellsville, will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar.
