William E. Prisk, 85, father of Edgar Prisk, 1411 Sharon St., died in a Janesville nursing home Sunday after a long illness. He had resided in Mineral Point all his life until coming here 5 1/2 years ago. For more than a half-century he operated his own decoration business in Mineral Point and he also had a large bee apiary there. He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 1, receiving his 50-year membership in 1950, and was past commander of the Mineral Point Knights Templar. Survivors are his wife, Annie, North Hollywood, Calif.; his son, Edgar; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Abiegail Paynter Prisk; a daughter, Mrs. A. R. Schaller, Janesville; five sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be in the Trewerk Funeral Parlors, Mineral Point, at 3 p.m. Tuesday. lOOF rites will be conducted. Friends may call at the funeral parlors after 3 p.m. Monday.
