HARRODSBURG (Spl.)-Roy Mills Campbell Jr., 17, son of former Harrodsburg resident, Roy Campbell and Mildred Campbell of Clinton, Mass., died in West Germany Wednesday, May 4, of accidental drowning. He was a private in the 93rd Engineers, U.S. Army. A native of Mercer County, he was born Oct. 7, 1959. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Roy and Shirley Campbell, and his mother, Mildred Campbell, all of Clinton; three sisters, Carla Campbell and Sandra Quinn, both of Clinton, and Joyce Campbell of Mercer County; two brothers, Jack and Mike Cornelius, a step-sister, Pamela Strang; and a step-brother, James Strang, both of Clinton; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Green of Kentucky, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in Kentucky. Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Alexander-Royalty- Funeral Home in Harrodsburg by the Rev. Marshall Black. Burial with full military service will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery.
