Miss Rail's survey notes that name on cemetery map is "Joseph M. Fishback", but that grave is inscribed "Dick Fishback".
Information other than that taken from the Rail survey came from World War I draft registration card; U.S. Census enumerations for 1880 (with parents and siblings in Lyon, Lewis, Missouri) and 1920 (single, living in boarding house in Seattle, King, Washington;) and Washington State Death Records.
Another contributor has suggested that Mr. Fishback was born in Lewis County, Missouri. No sources were provided, and all that I could confirm is that he was born in Missouri, and that he lived in Lewis County as a child.
