Willie Gillmor was originally buried in the Sandy Hill Cemetery in Paterson, New Jersey. His remains, along with those of his sister, Annie Gillmor, were removed from Sandy Hill and buried in the Gillmor family plot at Cedar Lawn on May 20, 1870.
While Willie and Annie Gillmor were removed to Cedar Lawn from Sandy Hill, it appears that only Willie's grave was marked. Willie's grave was excavated from the earth by volunteers in July of 2013 and restored to its original position but no record of a stone for Annie Gillmor was ever found in the interment records, or on the plot itself.
