Gay B. Simpson, 80 of Blacksville, died Friday February 6, 1987 at University Hospital. She was born Aug 18, 1906 in Blacksville, a daughter of the late John and Loverna Myers Tennant. Survivors include on son, John E. Simpson, of Fairview, on daughter, Bessie Smith of Proctor, one sister, Lillie Tennant of Blacksville, five grandchildren, and one great grandson, She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Waldo Simpson and two sisters. Friends may call at Owen Funeral Home in Blacksville, from 7-9 P.M. Saturday and from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Sunday. Services will be at 11 A.M. Monday in the Funeral Home with Rev. Andrew Hobbs officiating. Burial will be in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens(clipping Sylvia Sine Whittaker)
