STATE DEATHS
David William Lowe, Mio - Services for David William Lowe, 77, a retired section foreman for New York Central Railway who died Monday night [Dec. 12, 1960] of a heart attack at his rural Mio home, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mio Methodist church with the Rev. Charles Allen, of the Grayling Free Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
Mr. Lowe was born Nov. 4, 1883, in Canada, moving to Mio from Grayling in 1948. Surviving are his wife, Mattie, two daughters, Mrs. Arbudus Schofield, and Miss Doris Lowe, both of Grayling; three sons, George, Grayling, and William and Richard, both of Bay City; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Doan, Pinconning, and Mrs. Louella Reimann, Flint; three brothers, Everett and Charles, both of Flint, and Clinton, Standish, 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The body is at the Larrison Funeral home, Mio, and will be moved to the church at noon Thursday
[Dec. 15, 1960].
