Terry D. "Stub" Eddy, 85, of Brewer Hill, Jakes Run, died Saturday, March 3, 2001, in Monongalia General Hospital.

He was born March 16, 1915, in Monongalia County, son of the late Jacob Lewis and Inda Belle Tennant Eddy.

He was a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ and was retired from Monongahela Power Co.

He is survived by fours sons, Denzil Eddy, Billy Jo Eddy and Ora Eddy, all of Daybrook, and Melvin L. Eddy, of Jakes Run; five daughters, Iva Inona Roupe, of Mineral Wells, Lena Ann Wright, of Ambridge, Pa., Barbara Ellen White, of Blacksville, Donna Lem on, of Holbrook, Pa., and Emelia Polansky, of Daybrook; 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rose McCord Eddy, on Jan. 11, 1978; a son, Jacob Blaine Eddy; a great-grandson, Christian Wesley Chaffins; four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Daybrook Church of Christ with Evangelists Paul Stewart and Will Aleshire officiating. Burial will follow in Brewer Cemetery
