Eleanor F. Kasten, age 90, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, formerly of 1306 N. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 29, 2002 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
It was the family's wishes that no visitation or funeral services be held. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Eleanor was born June 16, 1912 in Manitowoc, to the late Stephen and Mary Melia Zandala. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1930. She then married Harry H. Kasten on Aug. 31, 1940 in Manitowoc.
Survivors include her sister: Florence Zandala of Manitowoc; a very good friend: Linda Stoehr of Manitowoc; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Harry on May 10, 1992; and two sisters: Esther Meyer and Helen Cutrera.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., assisted the family with arrangements.
