Mr. Ralph H. Kohls, 71, of 1414 S. 23rd Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, August 13, 1986, at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Kohls was born February 4, 1915 at Manitowoc, son of the late Herman and Clara Hasenfus Kohls. He married the former Frances R. Tadych on June 1, 1937 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Mr. Kohls was employed for the City of Manitowoc Fire Department for 25 years, retiring as a Captain in 1971. He was a Veteran, serving in the United States Army Signal Corp in World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Mary Lynn Kohls of Manitowoc and Ronald and Virginia Kohls of Louisville, Kentucky; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and James Sullivan of Camden, Indiana; a sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Paul Hardow of Manitowoc; nine grandchildren, a great granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 9 pm Friday where a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm.
