Pam was the daughter of William Metzger and Myrtle Annette (Morrow) Metzger (b. 8 Mar 1921, Fond du Lac WI; d. 16 May 1994, Clearwater FL). She was educated in Wisconsin Rapids Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966. She received a degree in physical education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She was a special education-teacher at Freedom High School and volleyball coach. She loved to run. Pam was the mother of a son and a daughter. She was murdered in her home.
