Robert Kopotic, 69, of 810 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday at the family residence.

Funeral services will be 8:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Ret. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Kopotic was born March 25, 1895 at Pulaski, son of the late Anton and Anna Goskoska Kopotic. He married Victoria Smugler at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, May 11, 1920. The couple resided at Manitowoc.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving as a private with the Fifth Company, U.S. Army, from Dec. 8, 1917 to Dec. 24, 1918. He retired from Aluminum Specialty Co. in 1960 after employment there for 40 years. He was a foreman.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Hilary (Carole) Dondlinger of Los Angeles, Calif., three sons, Robert Jr., of San Diego, Calif., Capt. James, of Bunker Hill Air Force Base, Peru, Ind., and Pfc. Walter of Colorado Springs, Colo., five brothers and 11 grandchildren. A son, Melvin, preceded him in death in 1948.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
