John Korlesky Leaves Many Relatives at His Death
FRANCIS CREEK PIONEER IS DEAD
Sixty-nine descendants survive John Korlesky, a pioneer resident of the city, who died today at his home on South Twentieth street, from infirmities of age. Mr. Korlesky is survived by eleven children, fifty-three grand-children and five great grand-children, a majority of who reside in this city.
Born in Poland 83 years ago, Mr. Korlesky came to America as a young man of twenty-two and for sixty years had resided in this country, having located in Manitowoc county within a few years after coming to America. He was a mason by trade until forced by age to retire. Mr. Korlesky was known as "the man who never made an enemy," being a man of kindly disposition, even tempered and genial at all times.
Surviving children are Martin, Peter, John, Joseph, Frank, Mrs. Paul Budnik, Mrs. J. Jagodinski, Mrs. Jos. Komoroski, Mrs. Jos. Borozka, Mrs. Jos. Revolinski, Mrs. John Jorinsky.
Funeral services will be held from St. Mary's church Saturday morning under auspices of St. Joseph's society.
