John P. Kotarek, 68, of 1010 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died Monday, Sept. 28, at Park Lane Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Kotarek was born John Paul Kotarek May 5, 1913, at Manitowoc, son of the late Peter and Alvina Tadych Kotarek. He married Florence Arlene Ozga May 28, 1949, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death Jan. 20, 1975. He was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company, Manitowoc, retiring in 1976.

Survivors include a step sister, Mrs. Louis Adams of California; three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Louis Reindl, Ellsworth and Eleanor Zlatohavek, and Ervin and Antonette Ozga of Manitowoc; a friend, Bernice Knutson of Manitowoc, and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Peter, and a sister, Josie.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Tuesday evening where a prayer service will be at 7:30 o’clock.
