Mrs. Alvina Kotarek (sic), 88, formerly of St. Mary Home, Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon at Rocky Knoll Nursing Home, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kotarek (sic) nee Alvina Tadych, was born Oct. 24, 1887, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Agnes Grochowski Tadych. She was married to Peter Kotarek (sic) in 1919 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Mr. Kotarek preceded her in death in 1947. She was a charter member of St. Mary Rosary and Altar Society.
Survivors include a son, John, of Manitowoc, a step-daughter, Mrs. Louie Adams, of Hollywood, Calif., three grandsons, four great grandchildren and a step-great grandson. A son, Peter, a daughter, Josephine, a grand-daughter and two step-daughters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 3 to 9 o’clock this Friday evening. A Rosary services will be at 3:30 o’clock Friday afternoon by St. Mary Rosary Society and at 7 o’clock Friday evening by friends and members of the parish.
