Funeral services To Be Held Thursday Morning


Nicholas Kowalski, 80, died Sunday at the home, 1121 South 19th street. The deceased, who had been retired for several years, had been in failing health for four years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the home and at 9 a.m. from the St. Mary's Catholic church. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

The deceased was born in Poland in 1855. Fifty-four years ago he married Pauline Mrela and 10 years later they came to this country locating in this city.

Survivors are the widow, four daughters, Mrs. John Gospodarek, Mrs. Bernard Dziengeleski, Miss Emma Kowalski and Mrs. Magdaline Skorzewski, all of this city; two step-daughters, Mrs. Veronica Bonk and Mrs. Anna Tomchek, city; and a step-son, Martin Katzka, Milwaukee.

The body was removed to the home today from the Leschke funeral parlors.
