She was a native of Randolph County, but had been living in High Point for 21 years.
A brief service will be held at the home on East State Street at 2:30 p.m., Monday. The body will then be taken to the Central Methodist church in Asheboro for the funeral at 4 p.m. the same day.
Burial will be in the Asheboro cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Madeline Johnson, of High Point; five sons, Reggie Dalton Auman, of Archdale, Cotoy Lee, Thomas Leighton, and Homer Wayne Auman, of High Point, and Colon Chester Auman, of Charlotte; a brother, O. H. Frye, of Santa Cruz, California; a sister, Mrs. H. L. Chevers, of Charlotte; 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
