Charles Krysak, 79, Route 3, Newton, died at at Holy Family Hospital early Monday following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, at 9 a.m. Wednesday, with Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Krysak was born in the town of Newton in 1872 and moved with his parents to a farm in Kewaunee six years later. He married the former Mary Buretta in 1905. Shortly after, he purchased a cheese factory and farm in Kewaunee which he operated for 10 years. The Krysaks moved to the town of Newton where they purchased another cheese factory. Following 10 years in business they moved to a farm, also in Newton, which they operated until the present.

Survivors include: the widow; one daughter, Lilian at home; three sons, Harry of Waukesha, Edward at home, and Carl of Sheboygan; and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Leschke Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from Tuesday morning until time of services. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
